Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant Brunch Featuring The Potash Twins – Arlington Heights, IL

When Elaine from Wink PR invited me to attend the Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant members’ brunch event, I was incredibly excited! Cooper’s Hawk is an upscale casual restaurant with 35 locations across nine U.S. states with over 400,000 members in its wine club (which is an amazing deal if you read about it here). This was the first time that the Arlington Heights location was hosting a Friends of Cooper’s Hawk brunch, and The Potash Twins performed jazz music for entertainment.

The Arlington Heights location is pretty big compared to the previous west suburbs location that I visited before. When you first enter, you’re greeted by a main area/store. As you descend into the basement level, you’ll see a reception area and wine cellar. I love the cozy and intimate wine cellar space, which is perfect for music events and banquets! I was in awe when I walked inside.

There was a bar in the reception area, and the bartenders were serving two brunch drinks: Naturally Blond Bloody Mary and Cranberry Almond Brunch Punch. Both were really good, and I especially loved the almond wine. The almond wine is one of their most popular wines, and I can see why! I was so happy that we got to take a couple of bottles home to enjoy.

We enjoyed some passed appetizers after the drinks. Frank liked the lobster & truffle deviled eggs the most. I enjoyed all the appetizers although my favorite was shrimp cocktail. The shrimp was huge and tasted fresh! After some drinks and appetizers, Frank and I headed into the wine cellar to get seated. It was very fancy-looking and a nice set-up overall. Each plate setting had a menu and information card about The Potash Twins.

Below was the menu:

Passed Appetizers

  • Lobster & Truffle and Cilantro & Chorizo Deviled Eggs
  • Shrimp Cocktail
  • Granola & Berries and Yogurt Parfait

First Course

  • Scones (Blueberry, Pistachio Orange, Benton’s Applewood Bacon, Aged Cheddar & Chive)
  • Citrus-Cured Smoked Salmon & Charcuterie

Second Course

  • Candied Bacon & AmyLu’s Apple Maple Sage Chicken Sausage Links
  • Croissant-Baked French Toast
  • Smoked Corned Beef Hash Skillets with Poached Eggs

I was so full by the end of the meal that I almost needed a nap. The brunch was excellent and accompanied by stellar customer service. A lot of people including myself enjoyed the blueberry scone the most for the first course. It had the right texture and sweetness. The salmon was fantastic as well. In the second course, my favorites were the croissant-baked French toast and smoked corned beef hash skillet with poached eggs. The flavors were great, and the food was filling. I’m a huge lover of anything hazelnut, so I was ecstatic when I saw that Nutella was included as a dipping sauce for dessert. Fabio’s Bombolini was delectable!

During brunch, we were fortunate to see The Potash Twins play jazz music for us. Ezra plays the trombone while Adeev plays the trumpet. They performed their songs along with some well-known song covers (such as Frank Ocean – Super Rich Kids)! They’re also hosts of Bravo TV’s Beats + Bites and Travel Channel’s Southern Road Trip with The Potash Twins. If you haven’t already, you should check them out!

Overall, it was such a fun and positive experience! I’m definitely a fan of Cooper’s Hawk and recommend checking them out.
